How many run the larger diameter wheels over the standard size ones? Thanks

honestly I didn't see a big difference between the two, there was an advantage with the trucks when the LPR size rims came out after the MTRs, but the tires are alot bigger so the differences are noticeable. I would just buy what ever rims you can get your hands on.

I'd have to say that to the 'average Joe', the difference between the two would be hardly noticeable. However...the FIT of the larger diameter rim is a beautiful thing. The fact it also stretches things out a bit, combined with a stiff racing foam insert, really DOES make a noticeable difference. No question about it!

Both have their advantages, depending on the type of track your running on and the type of surface.

And for the record...

I'm not calling you an 'average Joe'. LOL... In fact, next to the clean cosmetic aspect of the larger rims, I can't tell the damn difference myself. LOL...
