RC-TV Season 5

For the record all our sponsors are very happy with the show this year. This means we have a great base to launch our show for next season. Great Hobbies, RC Pitstop, John's Hobbies and of course Big Boys with Cool Toys have all come through big time for us and have made indications they will support us again. What we need from you, the RC enthusiast, Is for you to spread the word. RC-TV is here to stay. First story I want to do is retro RC. I love that old stuff and would really like to profile a few good collectors. We did not do enough rock crawling this season, I hope to get to a couple of good events. We want to see more kids. Hey if your child takes to the camera and is a real character we would love to meet them. We will start shooting about mid May.

Good job Nik & Nick. Ron Prinzen has quite a collection of rc cars (at least 75 ). Jordan has a few good ones also.

I am glad the show is here for us rcers. I think it would be neat to do that "retro" thing or something behind the scence of collectors and their "workshops"

Like Martin said, Ron is an rc collector nut and I have always loved 8th scale cars and have nice display of 25 or 30 On-road and offroad cars, besides a heap of sleds.
There must be some really cool workshops around or plane collections I bet Dave Henry knows of a few.
I have a friend that "had" over 100 Pitts planes !

How about organizing a retro show-n-shine? Get a lot of people together that has the older RCs.

Hey guys...I love show i watch every one. and pvr to watch again. We have a small club in Calgary, we race 1/5 on road semi's. Friday nights we meet and get around ten of these big trucks out cutting laps, it is great times. I think it would be cool to see some 1/5 on road on the show.

If you would like you can see some videos on the club forum at
(sorry i can't post the web address yet but pm me if you would like it)

check out the media section for last years videos, you can see the track get better as the season goes on.
