Extended Chassis....

If you add a Extended Chassis to a Savage you will have yourself a 1/8 Scale Die Hard Monster.

I won't lie to you, the Savage's are not the worlds best for the Track.

Not to say you can't make them Track worthy, but a Revo or a Truggy will definitely move around the Course better.

But with that said, you will be trading Track performance for durability, if you have the cash then buy both.

But if you're like most people and can only afford to buy 1 Truck at a time then I would say that going with the Vehicle that will give the most amount of driving options is the best choice.

A Truck that is able to use it's full potential on a WIDE range of places and surfaces...also remember anything that is designed for the track generally has only 1 speed.

I hope this helps, when I fist got into R/C's I bought a Jato 3.3 & it was completely useless. It was FAST, but useless..then I went to a Touring Car and then 2 Revo's and then a Jammin Truggy & a Losi Muggy and etc...

Needless to say as per my Signature, only the Savage made the cut, but I'm not a Racer I will hit the Tracks once and a while but I mainly Bash.

I would say a Savage is the best Basher.
