Myself, Abiye, Bortolotti, JB Catricala, and Mr. Tamiya made the A-main in buggy. Abiye wound up 2nd, behind Horne, and Bortolotti had a heart breaker. He had 3rd place in the bag, and ran out of fuel 2 TURNS from the finish line, then having no choice but to watch the 4th place car pass him for the last podium spot. He ended up 4th. Tough ta' chew!

Come to think of it, there were 3 out of 4 of us who flamed due to running out of fuel in the main. Me, Steve and JB. JB was running in 4th place almost the whole race, and flamed. All excuses aside, everyone ran awesome and had a lot of fun.

There were a number of other Canadian guys there also, as you knew. Brad, Steve, Cote, and a few others who's names are slipping my mind. They all ran awesome too, but some had more than their share of problems preventing them from ending up where they wanted to be. Steve Taylor ran exceptionally well in the truggy main, and certainly held his own, but nobody other than Mike Sontag (AMS owner) challenged Bortolotti for the lead, which Bortolotti finally took. Congrats!

Bryan Cote struggled like crazy with the track layout, and couldn't get the angled double double section figured out. It wound up costing him his position in the B main. He had Sontag i turn behind him, and just needed to hang on for another half a lap to take the bump to the B. He bobbled AGAIN in that section, and lost the spot. He was frustrated with himself, but I can tell you one thing...I know Cote, and it's only gonna' make him faster and more dedicated.

All-in-all, it was a terrific weekend of racing. Good to see you guys out there on the Saturday too, by the way!
