In need of help

Long story short, Iím an **!

Just took out my new E-buggy for a test run and over discharged my lipo.
Itís a 4 cell reading 11.58v. How can I bump it up to the 12v so my charger will stop giving me an error message?

Thanks in advance,

what some people do is force charge(nimh mode) it for a minute to get the charge up. It's a risk but it works.

Your problem is going to be getting your lipo charger to recognize it. You might have to trickle charge it on a NIMH or nicad charger to get it back up to around 3V per cell. If you do this, watch the battery very closely, and only charge at .5A if you can... and only charge it back to 2.5V - 3V per cell, no farther (with the nimh) charger. Then stick it on your lipo charger, and again, watch it closely... and BALANCE IT while you charge. In fact, I'd stop about half way through the lipo charger cycle and let it completely balance, if it's not already there.

Thanks for the help. It actually turned out to be a charger problem though.
