2010 glorcs championship awards

As some are already aware, there won't be an awards banquet after the completion of this season. It simply wasn't in the cards this year, however...

Championship trophies will be awarded to the top finishers in each class at Glenwood, immediately after the regular trophy presentations.

Good luck to everyone!

Hi Kevin,

Not sure what you meant by not in the cards???

It is a shame as this was a great event last year and I had hoped it would only grow, not disapear.

Re glories banquet

I agree with Dave on this one . I honestly think the idea of having an awards banquet was scrapped a while ago. Maybe a bunch of us should hold our own unofficial awards banquet somewhere if we get enough people interested

I agree guys. I had a great time last year too, and there will be definitely be talks about getting the banquet back on track.

Not having the banquet, falls in the wake of many things this year. Namely money, interest, and a few personal hick-ups for those who would typically have been responsible for making it a success. 2011 will be a pivotal year for GLORCS, and apart from a few other things, I would like to see the banquet grow. It's an awesome time!!!

Kev - Not a bad idea bud. Share your thoughts if/when you come up with anything in particular. It's certainly worth discussing. Regardless, the championship awards are still going to be awarded at Glenwood.
