Electric Truggy in 2011

Ok guys this class is propably the most fun of anything I run, however if we don't have classes for it people will not invest in it. (only makes sense) so help let track owners know your thoughts for next year.

Please post here if you have considered running an electric truggy or are making the conversion for next year. Or would if you knew more tracks were running it.

At Durham this year we have had 7 Electric Truggies out so far and I keep hearing more racers are building them for next year.

The new 401 track in Napannee is also racing them this weekend.

If my local race scene had enough people to run the class, I'd keep my eye out for a good used roller or complete pkg.

My E-truggy spent most of the year on the shelf along with my buddies. Hoping next year there might be enough to run them at the club races at Hardcore if not one of the series races.

Re electric truggy for 2011

It will be interesting to see if glorcs will run an electric truggy class next season

Jesse robbers from hot bodies is currently testing a prototype d8t electric truggy and doing quite well racing it

I would probably get one if glorcs would run it as a new class

Just curious, how do the average lap times compare between a nitro and electric Truggy?

I have just acquired a RC8Te and will be racing in the open Truggy class at Elite next year. Definitely lookin forward to it!

Nitro is faster overall because it is smoother through the track than an electric, my fast lap time at hardcore in electric is a 36.4 on a groved track and my fastest lap in nitro there is a 35.2 and that was on an soaked track.

My 2 cents
