can you recommend a motor for a beginer for his Studuim Truck?

I bought my nephew a cheap Staduim exetrix Truck from my LHS but the thing is super slow I think it says the ESC in it can handle a 12 turn motor. I know nothing about what motor to get him that would be abit better then the stock one. I did buy a fireball motor before and it lasted about 30 seconds. so I do not another one of those. I Had a SuperStock motor that was pretty good and might work out great for him, he is 11
