Nice Derek!

How hot are you preheating it? Don't be affraid to beat it up to 220-240 if that is what it takes to help your starter box spin it. Wrap the head with a shop rag folded over to help hold in the heat while you are trying to start it.
If it really is super tight the pinch you got may have been a bit severe. It might take quite a lot longer to break in than the first time and it puts a lot more stress on the connecting rod. You should check the rod for play on the bottom end after the break in and replace it if necessary.

The best pinching unfortunately is the tighter pinching....Unfortunately in many cases if the pinch is not done tight the pinch will not last..the Sleeve will just relax back into the form it had before the pinch.... For pinching t be effective and actually last the sleeve needs to be crimped(for lack of a better word), it can't just be loosely snugged up........ Who did the pinching on the engine ? pinching is very touchy and its difficult to find the sweet spot of being too loose to be effective and too tight to be user friendly.....If your having major issues you can send the engine to us and for a small fee we can break it in on our break in stand, or even the first couple tanks to get the engine loosened up a litttle... The breakin stand uses a nose cone starter an has no issues with tight engines...... Good news is a tight pinch will usually last a long time, bad news iis its more difficult to break in and may require a fresh rod sooner then later....
