Hey so i just broke in a RB K10 the engines not seen over 240 love it runs perfect. except for the fuel consumption, omg it's such a pig with a stock 8mm restrictor. am i losing more than i'm gaining with a 7mm or smaller restrictor? or is this motor always gonna be a pig on fuel?

running 30% o'donnell

Yes that motor is a pig on fuel but you can help it by going to t a thinner clutch spring, leaner tune and like you said going to the 7.0 restrictor. I never run my shark 10 with anything larger than a 7.0 oval. You can get way better fuel mileage but it will cost you, oval restrictors = $50, 2087 pipe/192 header = $150. the oval restrictors + 2087pipe/192header + thinner clutch springs + leaner tune = about 1-2 min more run time.
