Keeping fuel through the day cool at the track

Interested on seeing your thoughts on this.
We all know to store our nitro fuel in a cool place out of direct sunlight. I see some people using an EGC (exhaust gas cooler) and some numbers. Seen some info about people putting 'reflective tape' under the fuel tank to try to keep the fuel cooler....sure the chassis gets warm via heat transfer from the engine.
Now we all know a day at the track can get hot.Fuel is cool at the beginning of the day but by the end it could be a warm jug. Do you think this would be a factor in the mix of things? Are you keeping your nitro fuel cool during the day?
If people are so worried about the temps going up on the fuel why not have it cool before it goes in the tank...

Re: Keeping fuel through the day cool at the track
Personally I'm a**l about the EGC's and foil tape on my tank, as the colder the fuel is the more power and run time you get (with my efforts I get an extra 1.5 minutes on average). I can see how not keeping the fuel cool in the jug can potentially negate those efforts, which is why I at least keep my jug in the shade and if its really hot out I'll put it in a cooler bag and keep that in the shade.
That's what I do and it made a world of a difference for me last year.
On temporary leave.....be back soon!
