Track Update.........

Well this week proved to be another busy one for track modifications etc....
Thursday Kevin (ganggreen) and I dug up sections and laid down a bunch of drainage tile and trenched a few sections as well. We added/subtracted here and there and by looks of things after all the rain we had lastnight things are working out quite well.

Saturday I was busy working on smoothing and widening the jumps as well as cleaning up the area where we had the clay piled up. I also had to do a fair bit of work on the section of the parking lot just above the track area. It is still quite soggy but with drainage changes made to track and parking lot I think it should be great once it gets a chance to dry out.

Today I had the help of Mike K (twiggy70) and now the doubles are all fixed up with good take offs and landings. This was something I had already tried to fix up by myself but was unsuccessful.
I think anyone who tried to get the double double right before will thank Mike alot the next time they clear them smooth as silk!
Anyone who hasn't run the track will just know that the doubles are perfect. My 2wd SCT ran them for 2 full packs with only a couple errors and they were certainly due to the driver not the surface. Thanks again bud your help was much appreciated.
I think the track surface will be mostly left as is for the remainder of the season and maybe in the spring I will have some more jump in my step again I will get the ripple section back in the bottom straightaway.
