Before you take off you are suppose to go thru a ritual. Check the radio range. Check the proper movement and direction of the ailerons, rudder, elevator. Check the position of all your switches and gimbals. Turn off the throttle hold. Call for the runway. Put a big grin on your face and take off.
For your safety and everybody around you, you must do this.
