Well, Friday, my buddy Tom arrived from Gagetown, with some surprises, including the Me-262 that used to be the home for the pair of OS .46/Turbax I units that I'm going to put into my miller A-10! Plan right now, is to swap out the air retracts for electric, do away with the long nyrod tubes for ailerons and flaps, and go with one servo per control, and sand off a few pounds of epoxy paint, and re-spray. I'm going to adapt the nacelles from my 262, about 1/2 the weight, and more scale looking, especially the nozzles. I won't change the mounts on the wings, so that down the road, if I win the lottery and want to ditch the OS .46 AX prop engines, I can quickly retrofit a pair of 90mm EDF units.
