Hum.... I might have to try this. So you're tilting the motor towards the centre of the frame? Or simply turning each motor boom slightly clockwise / counter clock wise?

I've actually seen a number of designs where they are now tilting the rotor discs up on the side closest to the centre of the frame vs. the outside.

The DJI S800 does this and other have tried it as well. It gives more stability since it has a bit more directional force in all corners. It also helps with yaw authority. For AP/AV work I think it adds some stability, for more aggressive flying it probably takes away since its adds built in stability where you may want more neutral. I've seen some trying to use only side to side tilt on H frames to get better level flight but not give up the pitch authority.
