Re: Ready2Fly Freewing 90mm Venom Kit, 1.5M wing span (video added)

Made another half dozen flights in today's unseasonably warm weather. The more I fly it, the more I think it is the ideal 90mm 6S model. Tons of extra power allowing reduced thrust and long flight times. The CS fan makes the nicest sound in this model, perhaps due to the cheater hole grates. Not many ARF's are really ARF as they usually need much beefing up to keep the wings and landing gear from folding, but this needs nothing. The winds were practically zero and it needs very little runway for takeoff and landing. Was first thinking of adding some electric brakes but they are not needed as the approach speed is very slow. If anyone is looking for the perfect quick build jet, this is hard to beat.
Cheers

Thanks,

Hi Steve,
It only is available from Ready2fly in Switzerland. Mine was the Kit version, but there is also a plug and fly version including an older tech freewing fan, motor and servos.

Sweet plane Eric. I'm very tempted to pick one up myself but I've already spent too much this year. Then again next year's only 2 weeks away!

Hi Eric

Just a word on MotionRC! - Tray-Beian! or Excellent - I ordered a model and got it yesterday it was shipped by USPS - The company emails you when its shipped with tracking # - It took 6 days to get to my door 14th - 19th thats over a weekend eh!

Canadapost dropped off at my door! - The outer box had some holes/dings but the internal box was flawless and well packed - The 2 lipo's I also ordered were inside the kit box

The outer box had the Freewing company name on it along with Motion RC name so it shows it specially order just for Motion RC

The quality of the Freewing stuff is head & shoulders above the rest

That's good news Ken.
I would have thought they would just "drop ship" from China like our T33 from Parkrcmodels.
USPS is my preferred method as couriers always tack on "brokerage" on top of dutys and taxes (USPS doesn't).

This was a pre-order thing as Motion RC who was waiting for a Container shipment from China ie "FreeWing" arrived at Motion in the US - Then was shipped out from Motion same day too me. Great customer service
