Re: ALign 250 kevlar belt I feel like a dufus. I even mentioned it in my last post where I thought my gyro on my Trex 250 gave up the ghost but it fact all I had to do was reverse the gyro!! A really dumb, not thinking things through, basic setting mistake!! Also jumped to conclusions is there was no way in my mind that "I" could be wrong and have the wrong settings!! After putting in a new one-way bearing and a new tail boom (it was slightly bent in a minor brush with the earth from before) and reversing the gyro the tail wag is now down to a managable 1/4" either side. I would really like to get that out too but I think it may be just the way it is.

Embarrassed but admitting the mistake!


PS......I now have a good Align 780 on the way so I'll keep it as a spare. I also have a Trex 500 fly barred that I can use it in, just in case.
