IMAC isn't a sport because the participants don't make millions of dollars for playing a kids game nor do they hold the contest directors (owners) hostage for their terms. Oh, sorry, thought IMAC was a short form for some hockey league.

No... no... not at all.

I'm all for having the Canadian winter Olympic girls team, pose basically naked beside my airplane.

They say trees are 90% air. Personally I think they are 100% tree.

Re: Is IMAC a sport?

In this particular case it really doesn't matter what any of us consider a sport, it's up to the council that will decide whether you qualify for funding... not to dash any hopes but I highly doubt you'll get any. That's not to say you shouldn't try, if you don't try you KNOW you won't get any but just don't get your hopes too high.

One last thing... if any outdoor or indoor activity can be considered a sport based on that definition... I guess standing on the corner picking my nose would also be considered a sport... If it was a REALLY hard to get bugger, it probably requires more physical activity to get at than flying rc models as well...

I've often refered to my "hobby/sport" as a "lifestyle".
