I maidened my Eflite Mystique 2.9m, I don't have a ton of glider experience but I loved it. Still need to tune it in but after 45 minutes I had to shut it down and land... I have an aggressive setup of 500W, MVVS 4.6/840 motor with a 4s 3000 mah battery. After 45 minutes I only used 50% of my lipo capacity.

Dale would be proud... the first time I needed a chair to fly

Re: 3M powered glider

Thanks for that. How do you know that you had 50% left? What were your start and stop numbers on your tester? What tester do you use? How did you get that little spinning plane on your bit? Thanks!

And everyone thinks the chair is due to his age! Ha!

Welcome to the relaxing world of thermal sniffing zdhs13!

Ok so Dale is old, but there isn't any wheels on that chair yet!

Re: 3M powered glider

My stool is getting popular.
1/2 the pilots in Elk Point sat in it when flying this past week-end.
Ha-ha.

I setup my jr 12x with a stick position switch timer that only counts down when I'm running the motor(set for 7min), when I recharged my lipo I only replaced 1500mah back into a 3000mah pack (50%).

The spinning plane is an animated pic added to my avatar.

Go to User Control Panel, Edit Avatar. If you have the .gif that he used you can upload it there.

I just added one to my profile. Not animated, just one of the site default ones.

Not sure where exactly. Do some googling for animated gifs.

This is an example of what they do, just a bunch of images that display one after another in a loop, sort of like a very basic movie:
