Oregon has legislation before it to ban UAV's. It has not passed yet so best to wait and see. Here is the PDF of the proposed Senate Bill 71. very scary

But now there is news that the first city in the US to ban UAV's has passed a law. seems Charlottesville Virginia thinks not only UAV are a threat but the legislation could even cover a backyard heli.
