I've seen Nick Maxwell's TTs up close in person. Heck, we (being he, myself, Matt Botos, Rob Cherry, and Eric Lewis) even destroyed one of his canopies for fun. Don't ask. LOL! They are nice models and well constructed. The parts are reasonably priced as well.

I'm on the tail end of building myself a Synergy N7. I'm just waiting for the motor to come back in stock with the distributor. After chatting on the phone, I think I have Dennis second guessing what he's going to build this year. LOL! This will be one of my primary models for the year.

I took my NX4 to Florida with me on vacation (carry-on!!!) and got in a full afternoon of flying. That thing is AWESOME!!!! I barely used 1/2 a jug of fuel. Before I left, I maidened it in the yard, boy does that dense cold air ever make some huge power. LOL!!

I totally see / understand what you mean about nitro now. I'm glad I gave it a second chance. I just ordered some fuel as well, VP / PowerMaster ... no after run oil required.

If you read the comments about Morgan fuels Cool power and suchforth, they also claim that you do not need after run oil. Now if you belive both companies claims and don't store your engines properly* oil for any time longer then a few weeks*... then the bearing companies are going to LOVE you and your bank accounts.

Why take the risk, having an engine blow while 100+ feet in the air isn't a fun thing to experience. ATF/Air tool oil mixed at 50/50.
Gravity has a nasty way of reminding you it's a law. Usually when your screaming inverted two feet off the runway....

Re: 90 size nitro

From what I've been told by the experts, this depends on the blend and any additives ...

Morgan Fuels Cool Power 15% only has a 17% synthetic oil added.
Morgan Fuels Cool Power 30% has a mixture of 23% synthetic oil added.
Some of Morgan Fuels products use a blend of castor and synthetic as well, and at only a 17% blend.

I can't find anywhere on the Morgan site where it details that you don't need after-run ... are you able to point me to it so I can read up on it?

All of VP/Powermaster fuels (15-30%) have a 23% content of synthetic oil.

Now that said, I'll have to defer to your knowledge as my nitro knowledge is currently limitd and I'm still learning. That said, I fully intend on putting Powermaster fuels to the test on my NX4 and not using after-run.

I'll let you know my findings.
