More work tonight ---COWL --- Made the cut's in the cowl for cooling of motor . The engine cylinder is exposed to inlet air from the cut out in dummy motor ,and under the cowl. Out let air exit out through two large holes in the sides of cowl and around muffler out let . I sure I have the 3:1 ratio.

Re: **New** 50cc Checkmate from Aero-Works

Just had to see what it looked like with Cowl , Prop , spinner on ---- Fuse. is starting to come together

You can see here how good the paint on the cowl matches the covering

Re: **New** 50cc Checkmate from Aero-Works

Work progressing

Some more small things done today Installed the battery switch . I got a Miracle Switch from Thunder Bolt to use. H.D. Ign. switch and fuel dot also installed . On the inside of fuse. where these switches go , i installed 1/8 balsa , so the screws had a little more wood to go into with out stripping out.

Thanks Richard ---- It is a nice ARF. I have not had a Biplane in a while and am looking forward to this one this summer.

Here is some more posting and pictures as I got some more work done on it

The Ign. , Fuel Tank and Smart Fly are all in now I think I will need some help to set up the Smart Fly to get max. use out of it , after I read the instructions

I just put a order in to Jeff at Thunder Bolt today for some Life A123 batterys . They should be here in a week .

Re: **New** 50cc Checkmate from Aero-Works

More work on the Checkmate

---- Got the center cabane installation done

---- Got the outer struts installation done

This was to fit the two wings , witch I just had to put it all together to get a look at it

There is still some small things to go , and I want to run a couple of tanks of fuel through the new D.A. 50.

I do not have a total weight on the plane yet , but will be doing that soon.
