Hi Diego... as you may have read in the earlier posts that there are several clubs in the area.. and my personal knowledge of 2 of them are that they are very open and friendly..most of the planes I have.. where wrecks at one time or another certainly not expensive.. but with a little help and asking question I slowing started to learn how to repair and build.. my first plane was a beatup broken cessna 182.. had to patch it up and it certainly was not the prettist one around.. but it did fly... and I had fun with it.. and no one.. ever came over and said anyting about how bad it looked.. if anything they would come over to check it out and say , yup not a bad looking plane... good one to learn with..

Now I can't stress this point enough in that learning to fly on your own can be foolish and dangerous.. joining a club you will be able to draw on the experince of fellow members that can help show you the right and wrong way of doing things.. So lets say that you have your plane built and it looks good and everything seems to be working fine.. but without the experince you could have something seriously wrong that is just a disaster waiting to happen ,, and it could have very serious effects.. like if your plane where to get away on you and end up injuring someone.. you could get sued for the rest of your life for one silly little mistake..

find a nice club and join.. draw on the experince in the club to learn your way through ,,, club members of all ages have experinces they can teach you..regards jeff
