Stock Rustler XL-5 & Lipo's

I was wondering if a stock powered and geared (with stock esc) Rustler XL-5 can handle being powered by a lipo battery. If so, what is the largest rating/size that would be safe for my stock Rusty? Currently I'm running the stock battery and a 3300 mah battery.

Re: Stock Rustler XL-5 & Lipo's
If it's the current version of the XL-5 with the Low Voltage Detection (for LiPo) mode, you should be ok going up to a 2 cell LiPo. The manual (<--Link) will give you details on it (pg 4). Page 17 will describe how to turn on the LVD mode on the ESC.
Current models: Hobbico Nexstar Electric, Parkzone Spitfire Mk IX , several micros/small helis. Nothing nitro/gas.
