Hi Dale.

Normally, I would agree about the cowl air pressure etc, but on the Rascal the carb is out in the open outside the cowl. I did try taking the pressure reference from inside the fuse, but the engine would barely run!

The Rascal uses a servo operated micro-switch, and the Cub uses an RCXL kill switch.

I have three old K&B glow engines. I lubrecated the cylender with 3in1 oil. When I tryed to start them the fuel ran out the prop shaft and there seams to be verry low compretion. Is there any way to fix this and make them run again?

is it possible that the throttle servos overshoot and close off throttle butterfly momentarily?

the last post may be the closest to the problem if its at the same field radio may be the thing. id try a few clicks up on trim it can be stoped with up up elevator if below rotation speed. one field here we get a constant glitch in the same area on 72mhz. also could be a spot where a thermal is coming off the ground. try the few clicks and do touch and go no stop.
