Short of antifreeze in a cooker or ultrasonic cleaning, will parts soaked overnight in gun wash damage (blacken) aluminum (or even aluminium)? If it strong enough to clean off castor oil deposits?

Jest wondering while preparing for the field to open.

Wouldn't have thought so, but I would try a lump of ali in some of it overnight as a test before committing an engine.
