Any comparison between Zippy compact, Turnigy and Nano-Tech?

I was wandering if anyone has made a comparison between the Zippy Compact, Turnigy and Nano-Tech batteries.
I am looking at 3s to 6s batteries between 3000 to 4500mAh with around 35C.
I am currently using Nano Techs, Zippy compact and a bit higher C rating Sky Lipo's.
The problem is that i cannot compare compact and Nano Tech as they are used in different planes.
As for the sky Lipo's I noticed they were holding for only one season and they now discharge quite fast.
One thing I noticed is that Sky Lipo 40C are stronger than the Nano Tech 25-50.
I am using telemetry when I fly and the same capacity new nano techs will be weaker than a season and a half old Sky Lipos (weaker, not less capacity as they do hold)
I also have older Gens Ace but the larger batteries are very expensive and hard to find.

Re: Any comparison between Zippy compact, Turnigy and Nano-Tech?

I flew A LOT of multicopter flights last year using Z2200's and T2200's
For the exact same battery capacity,
I'm finding the Zippy's dont last as long as the Turnigy's.

Now I am also finding the case to be true with 1300's. The Turnigy seem to hold up a lot longer after 1 year of solid use.

For my helis I am only running 6cell Z5000's, and only have one season on them. Unfortunately, I dont have anything else to benchmark them to, since Zippys are the only brand of this size and capacity I have at this time.

At the present I dont have a lot of experience with the nano's. This winter I just bought some 2200's to replace my tired Zippy's. I guess I will know at the end of this flying season

Re: Any comparison between Zippy compact, Turnigy and Nano-Tech?

As Max said the Zippys are the lower end. The Turnigys's are the next step up and then the Nanos' are supposed to be better. Nano's are also lighter and smaller for the same rating.

I have had mixed experience with longevity on the Nano's.

I have Turnigy's on my Trex 550 and they are holding up well; albeit not many flights yet.

I have had them all. Where size and weight is not an issue, I would get either Turnigy or Nano Tech based on price.

Others will have different opinions.
