Motor for Topflite Texan

I recently bought a size 60 Texan arf that came with a OS 61FX motor mounted upside down, the exhaust is a pitts style with only one exhaust tube, I would have bought with two tubes myself, anyhow, the past owner complained that the engine seemed to be gasping / choking...not sure, I have yet to run it for myself.........
I would like to replace the engine with a four stroke....
1- OS 91 fs surpass II
2 - Saito 100
3 - RCV 90 SP four stroke
Which would better suite the Texan? Also, side mount or upside down?
I wish I had these planes when I was 14...even better, I've got them when I'm 40..
