receivers with dual aileron chanel

I recently bought 2 different receivers, spektrum 6 channel and. A hobby king orange with 3 axis gyro.

Both receivers have 2 aileron ports when I plug in the spektrum I get no movement on one aileron, and ultimately switched it to the gear port and mixed it.
On the orange receiver both ailerons move in the same direction, unfortunately with 3 axis the gyro does not affect the gear channel and won't move 1 aileron

I have the radio set for dual aileron, and I've tried all sorts of mixes with the aileron channels

Any ideas?

Re: receivers with dual aileron chanel

On your 6 channel Spektrum, default is to use the 6th channel or better known as aux1. If I remember right if you use channel 5, the trimmer will only work on the ail channel but both on aux1. On the orange, you can either use a Y connector or the extra ail channel on the rcvr. You'll have to flip the servo on one wing or use a servo reverser. Easiest for me was to flip the servo over and move the horn on the ail. to realign with the servo arm. They do work great as I have two of them in use.
Tried for my kamikazi pilots licence. Flunked the test.

Re: receivers with dual aileron chanel

You have to set the model wing type to dual aileron or flaperon in your tx. The AIL channel on the rx then becomes RAL rught aileron and AUX1 becomes LAL left aileron.

Re: receivers with dual aileron chanel

With a 3 axis gyro you have to use a "y" connector for the ailerons into the aileron port. You can't use Independed channels.... Or ditch the 3 axis gyro and use the heli gyro out of your Trex 250... And the spectrum reciever
