Not out of the woods yet with the finish, but getting closer.

Thanks Jack!
Btw, Maj Benjamin Quinn on the fuse is my kids (daughter Quinn is 5, our son Ben is 3) and the number 689542 is my AMA number. My MAAC number is around 21K if memory serves me correctly.

Re: Aviation Design - Scorpion

Guys, by this time I had hoped to be deep into installing the gear but alas I'm still sanding and polishing. However, under the careful mentorship of the finishing (Jedi?) master Peter Woo I've finally got a system/rhythm going so I'm hoping the rest of the airframe moves quicker.

Here's a picture of the stab.

And to think after all this effort ill be basically back to where I started, with a clean shiny ARF. Lol.

Re: Aviation Design - Scorpion

Sean, it looks like you are doing a fantastic job and the Blue Angles scheme will look really good on the Scorpion. Although, I thought you would do one of the Canadian F-18 schemes. I am envious. Are you rubbing or polishing it by hand? If you are, it will be a lot of work.

Re: Aviation Design - Scorpion

Not trying to hijack the thread, but is a Titan too much for this jet or what? I'm really questioning my decision. Fuel consumption will be an issue I think not to mention it'll probably be a frickin rocket.
