Flying my T-Rex 550E V2 w/ 3gx

I hovered my 550E for the first time at Shag in Saskatoon on June 1st. One month later, I am feeling more comfortable and have transitioned to forward flight doing loops and rolls. I am running the 3gx v3.1 and have no complaints with the performance, with flying at my novice level. The winds over the weekend were over 20 km/hr with gusts up to 30 km/hr and the heli is stable in my flight envelope. I hope to put together a few aerobatic manuvers for our provinical fun fly at the Regina Windy Flyers field on July 13th and 14th.
My camera man was a little bit shaky, sorry in advance.

Great stuff!!

I still think the 550E FBL is the best heli bang-for-the-buck!

Its bigger than a 450 so you can see it better, and it only needs a 6S battery to fly. The bigger electric helis use bigger batteries or dual batteries which makes it too pricey for me.

Love the 550!

Nice flying. You looked quite comfortable with it.
