Here is a couple of shots of a TT01E/D hybrid that I built mainly out of spare parts leftover from modifying 4 other TT01E/D's. I planned on mainly a plastic car for a change, but I couldn't help myself so it has a few upgrades.

Full ball bearing kit
TT01E lower arms, front and rear
TT01D upper arms, front and rear
Yeah Racing solid front axle with delrin gear and matching smaller than usual size steel universal shafts
Aluminum center shaft
aluminum upper arm brace front and rear
Rear uses stock diff gears for a change, I usually use Yeah racing solid axle inserts instead of diff gears, but I wanted to use stuff I had multiples of and also wanted to try the rear diff/front axle variant I always hear about
3mm thick aluminum front bumper plate
aluminum front motor cover and strut mounts- these 2 give great weight distribution for drifting, I have them on all my TT01 Drift cars and it helps a lot
CF rear strut mount
Hitec 625MG servo and Losi servo arm, with GPM racing turnbuckle and aluminum servo mounts
Turnigy Trackstar 17T 2400 brushless motor and 30A ESC, aluminum heat sink
Using a Unicorn Xtra Speed 2.4/3ch radio and receiver(radio, 5 receivers, transmitter cable, battery and padded case for $100 from HK)
TT01D plastic oil filled shocks with Yeah Racing soft springs
HPI 2012 Scion FRS body
TOPCAD Aluminum wheels with drift tires(Chinese, no brand name)

A little more trimming of the body(as evidenced by the front end) and then just waiting for an aluminum steering arm thats been stuck in Canada Post for 6 freaking days waiting to be sorted, then I can mount the receiver and try this out.
