You would never guess this in a million years. Steering servo is the culprit. I went on line and googled some of our symptoms and nothing. So I googled esc problems and a guy had a video of what happened when he turned his front wheels left or right his esc and rx lights you go wonky. SO i disconnected my steering servo and no more problem. hooked it back up and it started all over again. Now to get another servo and see for sure. thanks to all that helped

Great news. Thanks for posting the solution as well - it's good for others who might run into a similar issue.
Current models: Hobbico Nexstar Electric, Parkzone Spitfire Mk IX , several micros/small helis. Nothing nitro/gas.

Re: Traxxas E Revo 1/16

I had the same issue so when I replaced the one steering servo I bought myself a second to pop in as well!! You can always get one better upgraded servo but I figured to stockers would to the job just as well!!

Re: Traxxas E Revo 1/16

Try disconnecting the servo then try to see if the throttle issues go away. The mini servos in those cars have a reputation for being "inconsistent" - some people have great luck with them and others not so much.

Edit - too late, I see the problem was resolved
Racing, bashing, breaking, repairing, upgrading - its all fun. Paying for it - that's NOT fun.
