Ok so this problem is killing me, I purchased this engine new and installed it on my Pitts exclusive model 50%.
It's runs great on the ground and in flight until I do a snap roll.
It dead sticks every time, I've done lots of testing to try to figure this out.

Flying with and with out cowling, change batteries, run it idle on the ground no cowling and shake all the wiring, run the engine with out the intake manifolds, change around the gas tank setup, remove smart fly engine kill and plug independent battery straight in.

This is crazy that the problem is still there.
Anyone ever run in to this type of problems???

Re: 3w220 4cylinder trouble

did you do a vent line to the atmospheric side of the pump to a neutral pressure zone?
Solder the tube to carb vent - etc... That is sometimes a rabbit out of the hat fix.
