Re: RC Concorde CRASH!!

The second video is a classic example of why Farmers and Foresters are leery of RC Jets.

Re: RC Concorde CRASH!!

In first video, it was total pilot error that caused that crash from get go, but I'm sorry for the guy who lost his Concorde in second video, it was very strange how both nacelles failed in flight like that causing the loss of the aircraft....i read about it but thought it was some other Concorde but not that particular one.....it's sad..

Re: RC Concorde CRASH!!

Sure it wasn't control surface flutter or radio interference?

Re: RC Concorde CRASH!!

.... second one was pretty cool.

Curious if he actually controlled that bit after rolling inverted or if just along for the ride?

You don't have to speak the language when you listen to the commentator at the time chunks start flying off.. LOL

Re: RC Concorde CRASH!!

the ripe grain next to the runway is a recipe for disaster with turbines, this is the main reason we don't fly jets at my field after the middle of August.

In the second video they were lucky there wasn't a fire after the crash.
