I grabbed a Blade 450 3D (DX6i combo) the other day. I looked at the subtrim settings and they are quite far from 0. Did the factory just get lazy in setup and used the subtrim settings to align the servo arms properly for flight? Will I mess up any mixes if I re-align the horns so the subs are as close to 0 as possible. At the moment the heli hovers well for me being a newb and learning. Will it make re-trimming the bird out very difficult?

Re: Factory settings

You should probably go in and do a complete setup from scratch getting the horns to 0 mechanically first.

There is great videos on doing a CCPM setup here

Go through the CCPM parts 1 and 2.
