so I am looking to get a quad and was wondering what to get.
Most of the flying will just be for fun but ya never know.
Where do most of you buy your kits, parts and what is recommended ?
I definitely want the gps features to play with but with a limit to my budget (500)
Any comments would be welcomed

Start with this:
It comes with a KK V1 board, so you will be doing a lot of manual flying.
Then get yourself the DJI Naza V1 or V2, swap the KK with the Naza and you are off to the races.
