Last year I bought a 1/4 scale gas-powered Bud Barkley's built-up Tiger Moth, and my intention was to convert it to electric power. The seller (from Montreal) asked me to let him know how it flew, but I forgot the seller's name.

Anyway, the plane is powered by an E-Flite 160 brushless motor on 10 5000 mah lipo batteries.

The plane seems very heavy, maybe 25 pounds, but it flies just great. It needed trimming and a few adjustments, but now it's a lot of fun.

It takes off at 60% throttle and cruises at 1/2 throttle for about 6 minutes (I could probably fly for more than 12 minutes on a single charge).

Despite its weight, it flies very slowly.

So, thanks.

Sweet!! I would love to see it fly!

Oh well.
Hang time does not apply to ceiling fans, light fixtures, overhead door tracks or basketball nets!
