Im thinking of getting a Great Planes Escapade 68" and i would really like opinions about the two engines that im considering of powering the plane.
The first one is Novarossi Rex R91CR and the second is O.S. 95 AX.
Ive never owned a Novarossi engines but ive read a lot of good reviews about them especially of the new Rex models.

Re: Novarossi or O.S.
Several years ago I ran an RC car which originally used a TT engine. The OS was a definite improvement.
Then I installed the hottest fire breathing Nova Rossi available. It literally blew the doors off the OS without even trying (it even tore the chain drive car apart with blistering fast acceleration) and still came back for more. Total beast.
The OS is not designed as an all out high performance engine. Great for overall day to day easy to handle use.
My Nova Rossi was also very easy to maintain, start and adjust. Additionally, the OS broke very early on due to rod failure. Never a wimper or anything but reliability and brute monster power from the Nova Rossi. Better throttle response too.
I suppose you could say that running the Nova Rossi and watching it perform compared to the OS was like listening to a grand master play his Stradivarius compared to hearing some unskilled hacker kid plonking on an el cheapo whatever.
I'd have absolutely no concern about using one again.
