This is a follow up to a thread I posted awhile back. I thought it deserved its' own separate thread.
Well, I had dropped my 0 hour, brand new DX6i on the way to the field the day after I bought it. I never even made it out of the house! Doh! Antenna broken at the bend, switch broken off, and trainer/bind switch pushed in and jammed. I shipped it off to Horizon Hobbies to see how much the repair would be. I just heard from them today. I will be billed $24.99 for refurn shilping to Canada......but no cost for repair/test to make sure it functions properly!
This was due to no fault whatsoever by HH, and free repair.
Thanks HH....that is great customer service!
I can hardly wait to get it back and retire my DX5, as I have gone on a bit of an aircraft buyingspree!
