Rc motor temp question

Was thinking about this a little bit lately but I can't figure this out. If I had one rc running a 380 sized motor, and the exact same truck running with a 540 sized motor, would I be getting more power? Or would I just be getting cooler temps.

Re: Rc motor temp question

because of the fact that the motor runs cooler, you can take advantage of other gearing options that would allow you to have a higher top speed.. but if you just went from the 380 to a 540 you would still be getting more power and more top end speed even on the same gearing.
