So I dug out my old rc10 and decided to put a gps on it just to see what I could get.
Well I got the old 2100 nicad charged, geared the crap out of it and raced it down the straight and narrow.
To my supprize it got it up to 65 kph before I let the smoke outta the motor ( it is old so I didn't expect much)
Well time to through a lipo at it and a newer motor.
See if I cannot reach 70 or more ( maybe ill aim for the 100 mark)

Re: Playin with my old rc10

There are videos on Youtube .Mine had a CC 5700 motor and a 3s battery. I forget the gearing I use but it got up to only 52 mph.I couldn't keep the front wheels on the pavement.I was running the Stealth tranny. After about 10 runs the idler gear stripped.I didn't lower the suspension like they did in the videos.. I also changed the slipper clutch to the one used in a B2. It worked better than the original..The B2 is larger in diameter.. I added this air dam to try and keep the front end down. It helped a little bit. Good luck.
