My order apparently has been shipped now (though the tracking number is not registering as of yet with Singapore post either). Much like Tom I had paid just for standard shipping, but it appears they upgraded mine as well.

Will update when I the tracking number registers and the package is received.
Safety Precautions: Do not touch the rolling airscrew in order not to be hurt!

I'd like to offer you moral support, but I have questionable morals!

Re: Problems shipping from hobby king international warehouse...

there doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason... I put an order in on the 23rd, that had a JIT EDF motor in it, no LiPos and a few other things. JIT item was supposed to take 3-5 days to be picked. It was shipped from HK yesterday...

Re: Problems shipping from hobby king international warehouse...

Almost seems like they are having some growing pains. I placed an order and it just seems to take a little longer to actually get sent. I've noticed shipping seemed to slow down after they got there second warehouse. I'm up to almost $5000 in orders from them and only had one with a bunch of large lipos take what I would consider a long time. I did email product support and the answers I got left me disappointed once. It was trying to get parts for a engine that wasn't from them. I ended up finding parts on there web site and the engine is running great again.
I am sure there is a better way to make kindling but I haven't found it yet.

Re: Problems shipping from hobby king international warehouse...

Updates? Well I cancelled mine just now. They told me that they had to change the method of shipping as they can no longer ship via Hong Kong Post. I had placed the order 24 days ago and they're telling me this today!!! You'd think they'd bring it up to my attention before the fourth time using the on-line chat. They lied to me on more than one occasion now. With me, they've cooked their own goose.

Good luck to those who have good money on the line, hope they treat you better than they did me. I just hope I get my PP refund. :/

Re: Problems shipping from hobby king international warehouse...

I just noticed this announcement from HK:

I too had an order with some lipos in it that I had placed sometime near the beginning of Sept. since they hadn't shipped, I cancelled the order a few days ago and finally received a payapl refund. With this new announcement I think I place my order again with the lipos in it.

Re: Problems shipping from hobby king international warehouse...

Who says they lied to anyone? Do you all think they don't have suppliers and service providers that could be keeping them waiting for answers?

So far, it seems like anyone who's pursued a refund has gotten one, and some orders that paid for basic shipping are being upgraded free-of-charge. I wouldn't be worried if I'd ordered something and the order hadn't been picked yet, how much warehouse space can they have for packaged shipments waiting to go out? Wait and see, anyone reporting that they've been lied to or cheated at this point needs to produce more than "they told me my order SHOULD ship within X, then it didn't!". That's not a lie, it's a hopeful prediction that didnt turn out.

*edit.... While I was typing the above post was made, go figure.

I'm still waiting, LOL! It's being picked manually at the warehouse; get back to us, problems with our courier, bla-bla-bla...
I'm getting a bigger kick sending in the complaints to see what new excuse they come up with.

Re: Problems shipping from hobby king international warehouse...

I was told by Ken a few days ago from the support centre to upgrade my shipping option

"Hi Imran,

Thanks for contacting the HobbyKing Support Team.

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience that this issue has caused you. Due to shipping restrictions for batteries ordered in the International warehouse, we will need you to change the shipping method from International (Registered) Air Mail 1.5kg for $23.59 to any of the following:

EMS Express to Canada (MAX 1.5kg) $41.78 (shipping difference $18.19)
Air Parcel (Canada) up to 2.0kg $31.37 (shipping difference $7.7

You can settle the amount $XX.XX (shipping difference of the shipping method that you will choose) for the order 2007705824 via PayPal to

Please inform us of the transaction ID in order for us to process your order. Otherwise your order may be on hold until funds has been settled.

Thanks for emailing support.

If you have any other questions, please let me know.

I did the transaction and I went onto the live chat and Mary was very helpful in making sure my payment went through and she told me that it should be processed shortly and shipped within a few days.

I completely agree with whoever it was earlier, the service is hit or miss.

Re: Problems shipping from hobby king international warehouse...

FWIW.. Here's what's happened with my last four orders:

Note1: I happened to hit three postal outlets.
HK (HongKong ), SG (Singapore), CN (China)

Note2: Only Order#3 has lipos (two small 2S batteries)

Order #1 (HK) - Small connectors.
Shipped: 08/19
Canada: 09/04
Delivered: 09/09

Order #2 (CN) - HK Reaktor
Shipped: 09/02
Canada: 09/07
Delivered: 09/13

Order #3 (SG) - 2 lipos
Shipped: 09/03
CanadaPost says enroute

Order #4 (HK\SG) - Small parts
Shipped: 09/09
Changed from HK to SG: 09/27
Tracking numbers can't be found anywhere (HK Post, SG Post, Canada Post)

I'm not worried, everything gets here eventually.
But, something seems to have gone awry at the beginning of September.
