E motors / watts / props ???????

I'm sure this has been hashed over a zillion times, but can anyone help explain the relationship between the markings on elextric motors, the Kv rating, watts, amperage and matching a suitable prop.....
I want to remotor a Bixler 2 and prep it for a future FPV platform.....!
Thanks, Gord

Re: E motors / watts / props ???????

If I were in your position I'd start over on the Bixler 2 thread(s) on rcgroups:

Tons of information and I'm sure more than a few FPV setups listed.

Probably easier to see what other people have done and their results rather than trying to reinvent the wheel. The cool part is you're starting with a plane that is already pretty popular so lots of people have already paved the way for you .

Hope this helps,
