I now have a Devo F7 TX for my HotenX quadcopter. The F7 came with a receiver RX701, and video tx 5803. I'm waiting for a camera from another vendor.
Q1: I've binded my F7 with the Rx in the HotenX but I'm wondering if I should remove that Rx and swap it out for the newer (?) RX701? The latter is nicely marked, unlike the one in the HOtenX
Q2: Are the Rx interchangeable? i.e. will the DevoF10 talk to the RX701?
Q3: Should I adjust gyro sensitivity?
Q4: I think I understand dual rate/exponential, and got your setup off the website, but what is all about? Switch one way is normal, switch another is less aggressive controls?
Q5: Should I have a throttle curve? Currently I throttle up to about 25%, the chopper takes off really quick, so I panic and cut back the throttle and watch the chopper crash!
Q6: There are many, many settings in the Devo F7 that I don't understand and may not need anyway (e.g. I'm not flying a plane or a regular tail prop helicopter so don't have to worry about swash plate, etc). Is there a better explanation of what all the functions do since Walkera doesn't really explain what the controls do, only how to adjust them.
