I went to university in the 1970s and I wasn't in the Journalism program but I still got drilled in the 5 W's -- who, what, when, where and why; and 100% accurate and verifiable. Plus good grammar and proper use of the English language (American or English spelling was optional based upon intended audience but you still had to be either or but never both)

Now, it seems that the old basics have gone out the window over style, splash and fast/faster/fastest.

Even here on RCC, spelling and grammar are PFFFFT! I also make funbles all the time but that's just me trying touch-typing on a laptop...... At work, thank goodness for automated spell-check settings on my e-mail....

nice thread. I plan to hike out to the site next time I am up in Tofino. But then I taxi by a Canso in flying condition when I am flying at Vic Intl.
