I'm good with that provided Rob is. Two conditions, you call for us and Rob goes first, this time

Re: Covering

Some more progress.....

Normally I cover the fuse sides and bottom first and finish with the tail section. Because the control surfaces are still attached and due to the scheme, I decided to change things up a bit and start with that the tail. The tail section and turtle deck proved to be a real PITA, to be honest. Mostly 'cause the rudder was still on and the scheme on the turtle deck has very few reference lines to go from. Only two parallel lines to work from. Frack! That said, I'm pretty happy with how it's coming along. I should be able to finish the fuse off this week and then get into the painting.

Re: Covering

Ah.. you'd be bored.
It's the same scheme as my Yak, so no surprises. I like how it shows up in the air. (getting older, need every advantage! LOL)

Re: Covering

Dave,

I DON'T think you have ENOUGH hinges on that elevator!

Is that grey actually Metalic Gun Metal? I realy liked that colour on an EF 50cc Yak I had MANY MANY MANY years back!

Re: Covering

Don, I'd take boredom after the frustration of this scheme The Breitling scheme is awesome though. Always liked it myself.

Jim, I suppose there are enough hinges..... the plane has been flying for many years now without an elevator failure. I think Cam knows how to build them to last. The "grey" is called Metallic Platinum, according to Monokote. Go figure

After a marathon session in the shop yesterday, the plane is covered. Just need to cut out the servo openings and a few other minor odds n ends but, pretty much done. Now on to the painting. We'll see how that goes
