Re: Skymaster A10 / Twin Cheetahs
No Jason. The front fan blades are on bearings and will just spin with the airflow.
What you see is just the end of the Cheetah, which is very close to the fan blade center shaft. |

Re: Skymaster A10 / Twin Cheetahs
I forgot to close the loop on one thing!!...now that everything is mounted, the pipes point upwards a couple degrees and slightly in towards the centerline - with the pod in place it's just to deflect the exhaust away from the vertical stabs
I've got 2 nights worth of work before the pod is on the rear fuse section and it'll start to look like an A10 |

Re: Skymaster A10 / Twin Cheetahs
As I work forward the next step is to replumb the fuel tanks and start the layout of the CAT's, fuel pumps and valves!! The fittings on the fuel tanks were terrible and they used some nasty, thin line for the pickup clunk
One of Sandro's requests was that we avoid putting the CAT's waaay up in the front to reduce the amount of fuel line, which makes a ton of sense to me |
