Yeah, The other resin you see in the body shops is polyester resin and you don't want to use it on foam as it melts it like crazy. I'd use the playing card method as, if you put it on very thick it adds a lot of weight. The strongest, lightest method is with the 3/4 or 1 oz, glass cloth and the epoxy resin spread as thin as possible. The glass is what gives it the strength.
Tried for my kamikazi pilots licence. Flunked the test.

Thanks Gary, that is very helpful info. I will plan accordingly. It is all starting to make sense - bit by bit. Now, time to get busy! Next, I need to know how to add spoilers (or speed breaks) on a couple of big gliders - Bird of Time and a Kit Plane that I have no idea (nor does anyone else at my club) know what it is. Don
