Need some aerodynamic input.
I just built this camera box to velcro to a plane. Im just wondering if I need to put on some side wings or a vertical fin for stability turbulents. Was thinking of mounting on the turtle deck facing backwards or on the side facing back. Its going on a 35% plane so dont be concerned about the disturbed flow of the plane..... any ideas??

Re: camera box

Man, you're going about it in a much more professional manner than I did on my first attempts. If you want a laugh, have look at and click on the airial photography link. You'll see the crude rig I kludged up on the spur of the moment, and it actually worked!

Re: camera box

That should work.
Seeing as how creative you are, try putting a rounded fairing over the lower part of the camera housing that faces forward. That should do a lot to reduce the drag of the camera box as well as reduce buffeting (which may shake the camera and mar your video quality).
